No-fin freediving is the purest form of freediving.
In depth, it requires the freediver to descend and ascend along the line without the use of fins or pulling on the rope. Likewise, in the pool discipline, it requires the freediver to move horizontally through the water without the use of fins.

As the most physically and technically demanding discipline, no-fin requires high intensity effort and an extended dive-time. At the same time, many find it the most pleasant form of freediving because it grants you complete independence beneath the surface.
During this 2 day course, you will develop a proper DNF and CNF technique which will streamline your form, preserve oxygen, and increase your overall performance. The course consists of 2 confined water and 2 open water sessions.
- No-Fin Freediving, especially for deep freediving, is considered the purest form of freediving.
- Freediving without fins gives you a better perception of streamlining, gliding, and efficiency of movement.
- Without fins, you receive immediate feedback if your movements are not correct.
- Most freedivers do not have regular access to open water, so they have to focus on pool disciplines, which are a great way to improve technique and train for deep freediving.

After passing the exam, you will receive the SSI No-Fins certification. Note that it is possible to take only the pool part of that course (which is the first day). In that case the price of the course is USD 125 and students can be certified as Pool No-Fins freediver.
